Our visitors for the month of April '07 (5weeks), Poppy & the Spanners left on Sat 28 April from Bristol airport for Dublin, Irleand then Singapore:-(

We visited the Trojan Horse used in the movie "Troy" and story.

At "Lone Pine" where over 7,000 Aussies were killed in the battle of 8 August 1915 at Gallipoli. This sole pine tree is 81yrs old.

Took a week off to travel to Turkey for ANZAC Day with Poppy and the family.

The some 8,500 people watch dawn breaks on Wed 25 April 2007 at ANZAC Cove at Gallipoli in Turkey. Very special and emotional.

The family undertook an visit to London bridge to learn about its History and Construction - It still raises on avg 3times per day to allow ships pass

With ANZAC day approaching on 25 April, this was the view from Marble Arch Australian WW I & WW II war memorial leading to Buckingham Palace.


We paid our respect at the Australian WW I and WW II war memorial at Marble Arch leading to Buckingham Palace. It was open in 2003 by the PM.
